TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS
RV4CampfireFamily has 501c3 non-profit status and can provide tax-deductible donation letters to all donors. The following are requirements necessary to meet the minimum criteria needed for a tax-deductible donation letter. (Please note IRS requires formal appraisal for vehicles valued over $5k).
Name of donor and contact info - mailing address to send receipt.
VIN# and photo of title
Interior & exterior photos

Name and contact of recipient family and all eligibility documentation
CONDITION
RVs must be in good working condition. We request that donors have a mechanic complete inspection and maintenance of their vehicle to ensure that it will be a home not a burden to its new family.Clean title (if not can complete a lien sale to generate clean title and clear past registration fees due).
Holding tank emptied (don't give anyone else your sh!t)
Propane tanks full
Roof and window leaks repaired (not with a tarp).
Tires replaced within last 5 years and in good condition
New or working battery
TRANSPORTATION
If you are unable to deliver the vehicle yourself, we can assist with transportation through our volunteer network of haulers. If you would like to request volunteer transportation of your vehicle please fill out this form.

Trailers & 5th wheels- Insurance is covered by the truck that pulls the trailer
